From Friday 5th March until Sunday 8th March, the Loco Engineers Club are holding a beer festival.
And on Saturday evening The Plonkers will be steaming in to play from 8.30.
They are likely to hit the buffers at 11.30

The club is just 2 minutes walk from Eastleigh train station

The Plonkers

The Plonkers first visit to this lovely Showground situated within the River Lee Country Park. All day entertainment will include Birds of Prey Flying Displays, The Goat Show including bottle feeding lambs & kids, Terrier Racing, Equestrian Acrobatics, Motorcycle Stunt Riding, Children's' Entertainment, Medieval Village & Fighting Knights with Swords of Chivalry, plus Arts, Crafts & Gift Marquees and outside Trade Stands. Fully catered and a licensed bar.

The Showground at River Lee Country Park is situated just outside of the M25 and located next to the 2012 Olympic canoe slalom venue; the Country Park itself gives access to a unique patchwork of lakes, waterways and green open spaces and stretches either side of the River Lee between Waltham Abbey and Broxbourne stretching to 10,000 acres

Sunday 19th April 2015, The Plonker's Agricultural Orchestra will be appearing at:

The Queen's Head

The Plonkers are playing live from 12 noon at their Horse and Carriage Run 

The Queen’s Head dates back to 1685 and was originally a blacksmiths.
The pub still retains many of its original features from 100 years ago and keeps a strong connection to horses.
In fact wild horses and ponies roam freely near the inn even today.

Directions:
Half way between the A31 & the A35 the inn can be found on a road that links the two in the small village of Burley in the heart of the New Forest.

The Cuckoo Fair is held on the village greens in the picturesque village of Downton situated six miles south of Salisbury on the edge of the New Forest.
The Plonkers will be appearing in the parade and later playing live 'on the green'

The Waterside Sports and Social Club Fun Day this year will be packed full of entertainment including live music and games for everyone!
The Plonkers are playing live from 6pm

Open to everyone, it will be a fantastic family day out!
The Cider festival starts at 12 midday, so you've got over 10 and a half hours of fun
Music will be playing late into the night - so stay for some great local entertainment!

Set in the beautiful parkland of Tatton Park, this family Country Show will have something for everyone from the Knights of the Damned Jousting Team, through to Birds of Prey flying displays, Terrier Racing, traditional Punch & Judy, John Cavana Working Dogs, have-a-go Dog Scurry plus skilled craftsmen demonstrations, arts crafts & gifts marquees, fully catered and with a licensed bar.

Also on Sunday at this event the Companion Dog Show - bring along a canine friend and have a go! (And all proceeds from entries will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care).

The Edwardian Stable Block will house more than 50 craft and antiques stalls, plus a dedicated Food Hall.
Enjoy a cream tea in the Stable yard!
In the glorious parkland surrounding the Hall you can enjoy numerous exhibits and displays, from falconry and owls to working horses and hounds.
Visit the Museum of Rural Life and learn how our food was harvested in the old days.
A chance to see vintage tractors and steam engines in action.
See how traditional rural crafts like basket making and spoon making are being kept alive.
NANNA will be attending and organising a Fun Dog Show on both days. All entrants welcome!
Dogs are welcome on leads. Disabled toilets are available at the house and also on the main rally field. Disabled parking available. Please note that although the event is held mostly on one level, the majority of the event is based in the main rally field which is grass. There are some gravelled paths.

This show takes place right in the heart of historic Cambridge,
celebrating all that is great about the Country and right in the middle of Town.

Parker’s Piece is once again the setting for arguably what is Cambridge’s largest free to enter family event attracting crowds of over 40,000 – the 8th Cambridge Town & Country Show. On Sunday this year they also have the Companion Dog Show – so bring along a canine friend and have a go! (And all proceeds from entries will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care).
